Toby Mok is joining a Survival Camp 2025 as a Mental Skills Trainer

In 2019, Toby Mok stepped into Survival Camp as a young referee — with a whistle, a head full of questions, and a drive to grow. Today, he returns not as a camper, but as a Mental Skills Trainer, bringing with him a global officiating journey and nearly a decade of experience in elite sport psychology.

Now a certified FIBA referee, Toby has worked extensively across Asia with top-tier officials and athletes in sports such as basketball, volleyball, and korfball. His mission? To help referees master the mental side of the game—building focus, confidence, and composure under pressure.

His professional credentials speak for themselves:

  • 2023 – Standard Mental Health First Aider, Mental Health First Aid International (Singapore)
  • 2022 – Practicum Supervisor, Asian Sport Psychology Professional Alliance
  • 2021 – Certified Sport Mental Coach Trainer, ASPPA
  • 2017 – Certified Sport Mental Coach, ASPPA
  • 2017 – Certified Mental Toughness Coach, Mental Toughness Research Institute
  • 2016 – Certified Facilitator, FacilitatorU.com
  • 2015 – NLP Practitioner, Institute of Neuro-Linguistic Programming

At Survival Camp 2025, Toby will lead specialised mental skills sessions tailored to basketball officiating. Whether you’re calling your first scrimmage or managing high-stakes games, you’ll gain the tools to stay sharp, grounded, and resilient.

Officiating isn’t just about the rules — it’s about growth, reflection, and peak performance under pressure.
