Maciej Czajka Heads to Survival Camp Once Again – With Clear Goals and Family Legacy
Meet Maciej – a 19-year-old regional referee from Stalowa Wola (Poland) who’s about to embark on a new chapter in Kraków, both academically and officiating-wise. As he prepares to start his studies this autumn, he’s equally focused on continuing his development as a referee — a journey he began two seasons ago.
Officiating runs deep in his family. His biggest inspiration has always been his father, a top-level referee in Poland. Growing up watching his dad on the court, Maciej found not only admiration but also a blueprint for success.
His refereeing philosophy is grounded in incremental growth: “If I improve just a little after every match, I know I’m moving in the right direction.” With this mindset, he’s determined to earn his place at the national level.
Outside the court, Maciej is an advocate of physical activity. He enjoys engaging in various sports, valuing how they teach discipline, teamwork, and fair play — principles that guide him in officiating and everyday life.
This summer, Maciej returns to Survival Camp for the second time, ready to exchange knowledge, push his limits, and absorb everything the international officiating environment has to offer.
Warm welcome back to Survival Camp 2025 to Maciej!
