Survival 2019 Campers Feedback
Survival camp 2019 was by far one of the best referee camps I have attended. A couple of elements distinguish survival camp from other camps.
First, the thorough feedback given by the instructors and their availability. There is a clear link between the lectures, daily morning practice sessions and the feedback during the games, which all prove that the camp is well planned and thought through. Throughout the whole camp from 8am to (at times) past midnight, the instructors were available to give you valuable, direct and honest feedback. It was clear they were dedicated and had a genuine interest of helping. The small number of camp participants also allowed for even more feedback compared to other camps.
SURVIVAL CAMP 2019 Invitation
We are very happy to announce the 3rd edition of SURVIVAL CAMP – the very modern way of working to improve referee’s skills in all individual aspects.
Again, we will prepare for the next season together with the basketball players and coaches („Get Better Camp”). The main focus of the camp will be to improve all personal skills. Of course, all will be done as ONE TEAM WORKING TOGETHER 24h/7 DURING 5 DAYS. This is the only camp where instructors are also part of the camp.
The camp will take place in Jezierzyce Słupskie (POLAND), which is close to Słupsk and Polish sea side located 120 km from the Gdansk airport. It is also accessible by train.
Camp start on Monday July 15th and finishes Friday evening 19th.
RIND Survival Camp 2018 time start – meet the campers
Summer is here, season break, school break and so doesn’t it mean we shall have a break from refereeing? Maybe in a sense yes, because we need to rest the body and mind, get the energy, reevaluate our goals, check where we are and where we want to be. All in all, we need to get ready for the next season, this means we need to do some work ourselves, but also to make progress we need help of qualified instructors and colleagues, who will boost our preparation phase with additional challenges. Here is why in summer it is good to attend the camps. Many people are joining summer camps from different reasons. As the Survival Referee Camp 2018 in Poland is about to start on Monday, we have asked the participants to tell us little bit about themselves and share with us on how they see the camp fits into their preparation program for the next season.
Welcome the campers for the first UFFO Survival Camp 2017
The pilot survival camp in Poland is being done for the first time in a format that will be presented this year. Our participants will join in the same place and facilities the players camp GetBetter. This referees camp is special, as it will be very targeted on individual progress and therefore the planned group of campers is small, so everyone can get very special, individual attention while practicing with the instructors.
There will be 7 referees: Asimina from England, Veronika from Slovakia and Hande from Turkey and 4 gentlemen from Poland: Jan, Bartosz, Tomasz and Adam. Give a warm welcome to all of them, as there is a hard work ahead for the whole week!
Here is some of them sharing shortly some information about themselves:
