Mateusz Soboń from Poland joins Survival Camp 2025: on the road from regional to national

Hailing from Stargard and now based in WarsawMateusz Soboń is a regional basketball referee in Poland, actively building his path towards the national level. Since starting his officiating journey in 2020, he has combined his growing experience on the court with a sharp analytical mindset — no surprise, as he also works as a software developer in the finance sector.

One of his proudest milestones so far? Refereeing the final of the Copenhagen Invitational 2025, a testament to his calm under pressure and consistent development.

Mateusz has one clear objective for the coming season: “To break into the Polish national league.”
And he sees Survival Camp 2025 as the ideal stepping stone to help get there.

Eager to strengthen his weaker areas and engage with international peers, Mateusz is entering the camp with a learner’s mindset — driven by discipline, feedback, and focused ambition.

When he’s not holding a whistle or writing code, you’ll often find Mateusz on his motorbike — a passion that reflects his love for movement, mechanics, and freedom.

Welcome to Survival Camp, Mateusz — here’s to elevating every detail of the game.
