Session 2, day 4
Again we woke up at 6:30am, started with mechanic and IOT practice. Then we had a speed workout, breakfast, and cut clips from previous day’s games. We also analysed these clips together and had a gym workout.
Session 2, day 3
Day 3 started bright and early with us all meeting in the judu room for some practice of our signals in front of the mirror before swiftly moving into the sports hall with a camera simulating the table officials so we could watch back and improve using the feedback given.
Session 2, day 2
The second day of the camp began with an hour-long speed workout in the gym. Fitness coach Wojtek helped us develop our acceleration and sprint skills, essential for keeping up with the fast break and maintaining good angles on the players.
Session 2, day 1
It rained from the morning, so we couldn’t have our outdoor session today. However, we changed the schedule and switched to a video clip discussion. We reaffirmed the importance of angles and how to anticipate secondary defence.
Session 1, day 4
Day 4: We get respect by giving respect.
The camp is well under way. We didn’t know it yet, but we were in for an incredible day. A rude wake up reminds us of yesterday’s training session. But we’re not here to rest, and we’re all on time at 7:30 for the speed workout. Today, after the muscular wake-up call, it’s all about explosivity work and lateral movement work.
Session 1, day 3
Day three of Survival Camp 2024 was packed with challenging activities that pushed us to our limits and helped us grow both individually and as a team.
Our day kicked off bright and early at 7:30 am with a gym activation session, focusing on quick and strong lateral movements. We practiced our T to L and to C transitions through power steps and sprints.
