I hope to excel even further and achieve my goals – camper Christopher Curle from Scotland

Let’s start by introducing this year’s campers. First up is Christopher Curle from Scotland. He’s here to talk about his refereeing path and expectations from the Survival Camp 2024.

I’ve been involved in officiating since I was 16 years old, which is 9 years ago. I’ve grown up refereeing in Scotland across all leagues. Three years ago, I was given an opportunity to referee in the Women’s British Basketball League, and this season, I was promoted to the British Basketball League, where I officiated 3 league games.

I decided to join the Survival Camp because I believe it will be beneficial for me to gain insights into the preparation methods required to perform at a higher level.

My expectations for the camp are centered around acquiring more knowledge on how to prepare my body and mind to be the best referee I can be on the court. By adding this to what I have already consolidated in my referee career, I hope to excel even further and achieve my goals.
